Our Engineering Division are looking for a Senior CAD Technician to join the team.

Job description

  • Productions of detailed drawings and models on project at every stage of design
  • Compliance with Company CAD Standards
  • Compliance with Company BIM systems
  • Printing books of drawings
  • Keeping up to date with drawing software upgrades via inhouse/external CPD
  • Communicating frequently and with the design team
  • Ability to manage multiple project drawing requirements.
  • Support to Design Team
  • Formatting drawings to individual project requirements
  • Working for and aiding different departments on projects if required
  • Formatting drawings to individual project requirements
  • Filling in timesheets weekly and correctly on coretime

Profile

Essential knowledge of drawing software tools – Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk, Revit, Navisworks

Experience of using the following Autodesk Civil 3D tools:

  • 3D Surveys and creating surfaces.
  • 3D Pipe Networks
  • Alignments - Automated Plan & sections
  • Road Corridors

BIM and CAD Standards

Working knowledge of the principles of Waste and Water Treatment Plants, Pumping Stations and pipe networks or

Working knowledge of the principles of road design and Working on Active Travel project
