Job description


  • Building the Egis Group image by collaborating with all the players in the O&M industry

  • Responsible for achieving profitability and growth, and leading the activities of the Consulting & Operations BL activities in Qatar in line with the objectives assigned by the Regional BL Director (RBLD) and in compliance with Egis Values and Ethics standards..

  • Develop and implement the BL strategy in Qatar as well as full P&L responsibility including order intake, revenue, and profitability. Additional responsibilities include the development of the financial plans, marketing plans, project methodologies, technical and commercial leadership as well as project and BL staffing requirements and talent management.

  • Maintain excellent business relations with existing clients as well as developing portfolio of new clients & opportunities.

  • Establish and maintain an effective organizational structure and skill base to meet the needs of the business line in the short and longer term.

  • Evaluate and plan for future market conditions and align the strategy to take advantage of any changes or opportunities, industry trends and innovations.

  • Work closely with peers within the Country to create and develop synergies.

  • Ensure that that sustainability, environment, ethics and performance are the responsibility of all employees.

  • Demonstrate effective innovation leadership at all times, to enhance the organisation's commitment to sustainable performance.

  • Maximize the financial results of the BL in Qatar including profit and loss, cash flow, fixed assets, capital expenditure and receivables.

  • Ensure effective delivery of operational and budgetary objectives.

  • Establish PL forecast revenues and profits in accordance with prescribed guidelines and ensure effective teamwork to meet or exceed targets.

  • Participate in the upstream commercial activities for the BL in conjunction with the Country, the Commercial Director and the other BLs and in line with the associated strategic orientations.

  • Lead the preparation of complex offers and mobilize the key expertise required for the production and success of these offers, whether this expertise is in his/her team, in SL or in the Country; ensuring compliance with the internal processes for the production / review / validation of offers (budget, quality, deadline).

  • Manage projects on behalf of the RBLD and ensure that the service offering is deployed with the same level of requirement and quality across the Country thanks to skills deployed at the right level.

  • Ensuring timely projects reporting of accurate information to the B.L Management, on the performance of the Country while guaranteeing service excellence and full compliance with scope-time-cost & quality requirements

Profile


  • Technical and Commercial knowledge of the BL activities.

  • Experience in strategic planning and project management.

  • Knowledge of contracting, tendering, negotiating, and change management. Skill in analyzing tenders, market conditions and operational requirements.

  • Experience in sales and marketing.

  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and P&L analysis. Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

  • Ability to prepare financial reports, statements, and forecasts.

  • Knowledge of communications and public relation techniques. Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.

  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and clients.

  • Work effectively across a diverse multicultural multilingual community.

  • Excellence leadership skills & performance management by setting objectives and driving appraisals and communication.

  • Work with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Departments to drive strategies for recruitment and retention of key personnel to foster an environment that enables the company to attract and retain a high performing talented workforce.

  • Graduation in Engineering, minimum professional experience of 15 years in the areas of project management, operation and maintenance, advisory, and/or aviation.
    Experience in managing P&L of an entity, and business development
