What is Egis’ role in T2D?
Egis’s involvement in the first phase of the project will be primarily in design review, digital engineering architecture, whole of life consideration of project design and construction which flows into operations and maintenance activities during construction phase. In the later phase of the project (5 years and beyond), we will still act under alliance with the client as the ultimate asset owner. In recognition of this, our impact will be in MIR during operational phase of motorway, asset management responsibilities, whole of life analysis and digital engineering stewardship.
What is the current situation?
Egis is part of the ConnecT2D Alliance (together with Cimic Group, Acciona, Arup and Aurecon), we have submitted a tender in April 2024. We are currently in the post-tender clarification phase and expect to learn the outcome of the tender in July 2024. We are confident about our chances to be awarded the contract for this landmark project. We are in a strong position to win this contract and as such, have commenced recruitment for priority one roles.
